THE UNDERPASS

We have been held hostage for over ten years with the constant trash, open drug use and the stitch. This month the entire area at the under-pass was over the top and NASTY. Walkers on their way to Meijers stated that they crossed over on the other side of the street - because of the filth.

DPW did a clean up last week. Everything was cleared. Not even an hour had passed and a twin mattress WAS placed against the wall. Who would have the audacity to drop off this mattress after residents posted photos and complaints to the IMPROVE DETROIT APP and placed calls to the Department of Neighborhoods and Mayor Duggan's office directly?

With the new year 2023 fast approaching - the citizens of Detroit and the surrounding communities deserve better. Contact Mayor Duggan's office and let him know what you demand. It is well over due.
