After 56 years – our neighbor Marie Handley has left Greenacres. Marie and her husband Bob Handley (aka, the Greenacres Beekeeper) moved to Greenacres in October of 1964 on Woodstock Drive.

On September 19, 2020 there was a Drive-By Parade held to wish her well as she prepared to leave Greenacres and move to her new place at Henry Ford Village.

Neighbors surrounded her with love, decorated their cars and followed the Detroit Fire Truck that her son (A Detroit Firefighter) lead the way on the parade route. It was a great day to celebrate Marie. Look at some of the great photos.
